About Me

About Elara Vance

I have spent the last decade studying traditional herbalism in Kyoto and the Pacific Northwest. My work focuses on the therapeutic properties of native plants and how they influence our mental clarity.

This blog serves as a field journal for my ongoing research into the relationship between root systems and human resilience. I believe that understanding a plant's life cycle teaches us patience and grounding.

When I am not sketching specimens, I lead workshops on botanical watercolor and sustainable gardening. My goal is to make ancient wisdom accessible to modern practitioners.

Thank you for joining me on this journey through the seasons and stems.
